Welcome to NYCBTA

The New York City Business Travel Association (NYCBTA), an official Chapter of the Global Business Travel Association, was founded in 1953 and became a Chapter in 1968.  NYCBTA provides an important forum for the exchange of information, education and ideas among its members, who include representatives from corporations who buy or procure travel on behalf of their company employees and travel industry suppliers who sell their services. Our emphasis is on working together to better understand new and emerging travel management practices and improve the travel industry through advocacy.

NYCBTA’s Commitment to You During COVID-19

Dear GBTA New York City Chapter Members,

We hope you and your families are thriving during this difficult time. As we come to grips with life being completely altered and uprooted by COVID-19, the commitment to our membership remains unchanged.

Words cannot describe the ache we all feel inside as many of our friends, peers and colleagues are being impacted by furloughs, layoffs and deep reductions in hours.  We are still learning what the lasting impact this pandemic will have on the global economy, especially for the future of our industry.

Your NYCBTA board members are here to support our members. We are here for you.

Staying connected and in touch is what makes a difference during these scary times:

  • Our monthly education sessions are being moved to a virtual platform until it is safe for us to meet in person again.
  • We are creating networking events via zoom calls.
  • We are adding relevant content to our social media, be sure to follow us on all channels.

We want to stay in communication with you so you can continue to receive all NYCBTA emails. Please log into your profile on the NYCBTA or GBTA sites to add your personal email, be sure to verify the address via the automated email sent by the site. If you are unable to log into your profile, please reach out to us at [email protected].

This is the time to use your network- reach out to connect and check in on each other. Everyone has feelings of unease right now and those are best resolved through a kind thought, a warm wish, or a friendly face.

We are sending positive thoughts of safety and sanity to you and yours.
